Fifty year old Garrett lived in an institution for most of his life. When he came to ARC at age 26, he had no friends and no responsibilities. With meaningful activities and a heavy dose of reassurance and patience, Garrett began to feel safe and valued. Garrett's life was changed forever. Today, he is a top volunteer at Meals on Wheels and is a friend to many!
