The Greater Richmond ARC relies on the support of individuals, businesses and community organizations to help us to create life-fulfilling opportunities for over 1200 individuals and families each year. At the Greater Richmond ARC, 95% of revenue is put back into programs that support individuals and families across a lifetime. How Your Donation Helps:$2,000 provides 36 hours of employment support for job assessment, interviews, skills training and on-the-job follow along. $1,000 provides 8 sessions of physical, occupational or speech therapy for a child. $650 provides a scholarship for one week of summer camp. $150 provides a week of after school care for a school-aged student. How to Contribute:Unrestricted Donations – With your unrestricted gift, the Greater Richmond ARC can identify and better meet our families' most pressing needs. Donate by check, credit card or stock. Restricted Donations – Designate your donation to a specific Greater Richmond ARC fund or program. Honorary & Memorial Gifts – Honor friends, family, and loved ones by making a donation in their honor or memory. We will be sure to notify your designee. Matching Gifts – Many companies offer a matching gifts program that will match in whole or part your donations to nonprofit organizations. Contact your human resource officer for more information. This is an easy way to double the impact of your gift. Monthly Donor Program – You can authorize the Greater Richmond ARC to bill your credit card company on a set schedule. United Way Campaigns – The Greater Richmond ARC may receive designated gifts through workplace (#2780), state government/ schools (#7343) and combined federal campaigns (#7343) conducted by the United Way of Greater Richmond and Petersburg. Planned Giving – Consider a charitable gift in your overall financial, tax, and estate planning. A "planned" gift allows you to make a positive financial difference for you and your family while leaving a legacy that will benefit the Greater Richmond ARC and those we serve well into the future.
