KSPH raises funds to benefit the Greater Richmond ARC in Jeans for Charity Friday

RICHMOND, Va. ( March 11, 2014)-- While most charitable events involve dressing up, employees at KSPH, a Marsh & McLennan agency specializing in employee benefits management, recently paid to dress down.

During the last quarter of 2013, the KSPH staff raised more than $600 in its Jeans for Charity Friday program, where participating employees made a charitable donation for the chance to wear jeans on Fridays. The Greater Richmond ARC, which provides programming for individuals with developmental disabilities of all ages, was the recipient of the 4th-quarter donations.

Nita Starr, Director of Annual Funds at the Greater Richmond ARC, said the donation to ARC was greatly appreciated and that it was a fun twist to see people raising money by dressing casually, rather than formally.
