The Greater Richmond ARC Receives CARF Three-Year Accreditation

The Greater Richmond ARC Receives CARF Three-Year Accreditation

Richmond, Va. (July 19, 2012)  CARF International announced that the Greater Richmond ARC and ARC Industrial Services have been accredited for a period of three years for the following programs: Community Employment Services - Job Development; Community Employment Services - Job Supports; Community Employment Services - Job-Site Training; Employee Development Services; and Organizational Employment Services. The latest accreditation is the fourth consecutive Three-Year Accreditation that the international accrediting body, CARF, has awarded to The Greater Richmond ARC.

This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and demonstrates the organization's substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process. It has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit ARC's commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality.

Our commitment to providing superior services from an international accrediting body, such as CARF, is affirmed in receiving our fourth consecutive Three-Year Accreditation status, said Quintin Mitchell, vice president of the Greater Richmond ARC's Developmental Services. We are honored to have achieved such a worthy goal.
